We are looking for a talented and experienced Inventory Sspecialist to join our IT team. This role will be responsible for IT equipment purchasing, order placement, vendor/reseller management and maintenance, inventory levels monitoring, invoice resolution, and a variety of report analysis.

You will be joining a high functioning IT group providing efficient fulfillment support to our internal customers worldwide. This is a new role and will report directly to the Director of IT Operations.

The right candidate for this position has a deep understanding of inventory control, excels in a fast paced environment, and has a passion for technology.

Some of your responsibilities will be to:
  • Perform, coordinate, and oversee quarterly inventory cycle counts for all locations
  • Maintain an inventory status dashboard
  • Establish quality standards and measurements for inventory control
  • Ensure inventory accurately reflects the movement of equipment
  • Analyze excess and obsolete inventory and provide plans for disposal or resale
  • Assist with contract negotiation and facilitate purchase agreements while ensuringe overall contract compliance
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across functions to achieve business objectives

The right candidate likely has:
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role, preferably in a high volume technical environment
  • Retail experience highly desirable
  • High level of proficiency in business and collaboration applications (i.e. Google Apps/Spreadsheets, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills, ability to develop and communicate inventory findings and recommendations
  • Bachelors Degree concentration in Operations Management, Business Administration, or related experience
