Do you enjoy building tools to increase quality, velocity, and efficiency for other engineers?
We’re looking for a solid engineer to help build the tools and processes that allow our feature teams to build web applications better and faster. Your customers will be New Relic’s talented engineers as well as the hundreds of thousands of people who depend on our software.
New Relic makes it easy to pinpoint slow transactions and database queries in your mobile and web applications. As a Software Engineer at New Relic, you will work with some of the best engineers in the industry and tackle some of the toughest problems in a supportive environment.
The ideal engineer will have strong Ruby on Rails experience and love solving hard problems. You will enjoy helping to advance our technology stack to ensure that our web site scales with the growth of our customer base.

- Strong Rails experience
- Desire to work with a broad range of technologies
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience with modern UI frameworks, like AngularJS
- Experience scaling websites
- Familiarity with Ruby GC, resque, and unicorn
