Head of Recruiting Operations
Box's People team is looking for an incredible Recruiting Operations leader. This process-oriented guru will work with the recruiting, people, finance teams, and org leaders to ensure that Box maintains one of the best hiring organizations in the valley and keeps up with its tremendous hiring goals. Responsibilities fall into three main areas of ownership: own recruiting tools (such as our Applicant Tracking System); recruiting workflows and process improvements; and recruiting analytics. This role reports directly to the Head of Recruiting. As this is a new role at Box, this leader will have a clean-slate opportunity to build out processes that will allow Box to continue to massively scale up over time.
Responsibilities
- Create and manage cross-functional processes and drive process improvements throughout Recruiting, People Operations, and SP&A
- Own Box's recruiting technology decisions, including applicant tracking system, workflows, integrations, and sourcing solutions
- Liaise with finance (SP&A) to optimize planning process and determine quarterly headcount
- Partner with various recruiting teams to create individual and team goals and develop methods for efficiently tracking those goals
- Form relationships with org leaders to determine prioritized headcount lists for subsequent quarters
- Design and manage efficient offer letter process
- Maintain consistency and calibrate candidate expectations with role compensation bands, title and equity
- Perform analytics for the recruiting team and hiring managers
- Formulate a process to address changing compliance standards and data requests, own fulfillment of reporting requirements
Requirements
- Bachelors degree and 8-10 years of operations experience, preference for People or Recruiting Operations teams
- Track record of successfully implementing new technologies
- Strong analytical skills – the ability to demonstrate impact and efficacy of refreshed processes on the business
- History of strong partnering and collaboration across teams and organizational boundaries, can get things done in a matrixed environment
- Agile and lean; someone who doesn't add process for the sake of process, instead making meaningful change
- 2+ years experience with Workday a big plus
- Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems
- Preference for project management certifications or training
- Passion for cloud technologies
