Art Fair Project Manager (New York)
Artsy seeks an art world professional to manage existing art fair relationships and identify new opportunities to expand Artsy’s presence worldwide. Artsy provides the most comprehensive coverage of art fairs anywhere, providing access to +40,000 artworks, +1,900 galleries from art fairs in 14 countries.
Your primary responsibility will be to foster active relationships with the leading international art fairs. This requires you to serve as the liaison between fair organizers and the different teams at Artsy (Arts, Editorial, Sales, Design, Engineering, etc.) to launch a tailored online experience for each of our fair partners.
You are extremely organized, shrewdly analytical, and have the creative insight to implement a strategy that translates each fair’s program online. You must be familiar with the structure of art fairs, passionate about the art market and providing access to collectors and art enthusiasts around the world.
The ideal candidate for this position has a BA in Art History and 2+ years of work experience in the contemporary art world, is fluent in Spanish, and is an active participant in the local arts community. This role also requires frequent travel. You must be based in New York City, and available to start immediately on a full-time basis.
