About the role
- You’ll be the third engineer on the team.
- You will build and own our first mobile app from start to launch.
- All along the way, you’ll work directly with product, design, and community, and will have a say in the company’s direction.
- As an integral part of a small team, you’ll be a mentor and student to everyone on the team. You’ll help us become a stronger, faster, and a more thoughtful team.
About you
- You are excited about Socratic’s mission.
- You have built and shipped products, whether for yourself, or for companies.
- You have built apps for mobile platforms, whether iOS or Android.
- You have a passion for creating beautiful and simple experiences, for users of the product, and for fellow engineers.
- You exercise sound judgment and understand the balance between moving fast and writing maintainable code.
- You can rapidly prototype new ideas, and are comfortable working in a fast-moving, iterative, environment.
