ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting into a Supervisor in the region, the Account Manager is a position centered on client services and is one where media planning and buying is the primary function. As an Account Manager you will execute the day to day responsibilities of responding to client requests and building digital media recommendations. You will work alongside an Account Executive and are responsible for managing all aspects of a client’s media plans and campaigns. This includes day-to-day operations, client deliverables, relationship management, and issue resolution.

 
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the stewardship of a media plan from concept to cash
  • Develop comprehensive media plans across different mediums (Mobile, Video, Display) that meet each agency or client’s marketing objectives
  • Assemble site consideration set and make recommendations on how to best allocate advertising budgets; utilizing media research tools, Centro’s proprietary tools, and industry/market knowledge
  • Develop and issue RFPs to publisher partners; gather and analyze proposals to determine the best media selections, negotiate rates & positioning as required
  • Create final media recommendation and provide Account Executive with detailed rationale that supports planning decisions 
  • Work with internal teams to oversee and monitor ongoing campaign performance, ensuring campaigns are executed properly and according to client expectations
  • Assist Campaign Analysis team in strategic analysis of campaigns and provide recommendations for future media plans.
  • Foster relationships with both agency clients and vendors
  • Accompany Sales on external meetings and presentations when applicable
  • Support Supervisor & Director in responding to client requests and special projects as necessary
  • Facilitate and lead internal status meetings
  • Manage timelines and coordination of resources for deliverables owned.  Ensure deliverables are aligned and implemented across all teams to meet client’s goals and objectives
  • Assist with training and mentorship to the junior members of the team


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ years interactive online media planning & buying
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Critical thinking and proactive approach
  • Proven communication skills
  • Team work
  • Issue resolution/problem solving skills
