Atlassian is looking for a seasoned brand marketer to enhance and promote Atlassian’s brand positioning and identity. Your job is to make sure that Atlassian’s brand positioning and identity are spot on, that the world is aware of who Atlassian is and why its products are essential for all teams, and that we are able to measure the impact of the incredible work you will do in conjunction with cross-functional collaborators. As Senior Manager/Director of Brand Marketing, you will lead cross-functional brand campaigns and initiatives. Specifically, you will strategize and execute corporate- and product-level integrated brand campaigns, working closely with internal owners of key channels -- including PR, SEM, social, etc. – and with external strategic partners to meet campaign objectives. You will collaborate with the Atlassian’s design team to take Atlassian’s brand identity to the next level, and ensure that the necessary assets, guidelines, and processes in are place for global efficiency and consistency. And last, develop, measure, and analyze key brand health metrics, and communicate results, opportunities, and challenges to senior management. More about youYou are a strategic and creative thinker, but you also sweat the details because you can’t help yourself. You feel ownership over the brand, and that means you’re very protective of how it’s expressed. You love curating all aspects of a brand, whether it be naming the next product or partnering with legal to manage and protect Atlassian’s trademarks. We would love it if you have a 10+ year track record in marketing, with significant experience directly managing brand marketing campaigns and initiatives. You may have spent time earlier in your career on the agency side, but you have in-house experience, preferably at a B2B software company. You are comfortable working as an individual contributor and managing complex, cross-functional initiatives, but you’re also comfortable growing and directly managing a team. You are equally comfortable working with internal collaborators as you are managing relationships with outside agencies, consultants, and independent contractor. You are naturally curious about the markets in which Atlassian plays, and you bring to the table a strong point of view – based on insights -- about Atlassian’s brand positioning and identity and how to maximize their potential. In addition to knowing great messaging and design when you read/see it, you are also an amazing project manager.
