Barista (Contracted)
Overview:
We are looking for individuals passionate for service to join our Culinary Team! We have a few coffee stations in house, serving custom blends. As a barista, you will be fueling our hardworking teams with the best sustainable products around.
Responsibilities:
- Espresso machine proficiency
- Good customer service skills
- Responsible for preparation of a variety of coffee, tea and other beverages
- Must adhere to proper safety guidelines at all times
- Inventory/Order supplies as needed
- Assist in upkeep of the Café regularly
- Must be able to multitask efficiently
Basic Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Must have a valid California ServSafe card
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- 3 years of Barista experience
- Self-motivated and works well with others
- Friendly customer service attitude
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work all shifts and available for overtime and weekends as needed.
- Frequent bending, stooping, grasping, lifting, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
- Able to work in continuously-standing position for five or more hours
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs. unassisted
