New Relic is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Staff Accountant to contribute to a world-class finance organization in a dynamic software analytics company. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational accounting experience in accounts payable, expense reporting, and general ledger accounting and show an eagerness to support all aspects of finance.
This position is in our newly opened EMEA headquarters in Dublin. Thirty percent of New Relic’s 90,000+ active customer accounts are international and our EMEA accounts grew 158% last year – without any physical presence in EMEA! So imagine what you can accomplish in our newly opened EMEA headquarters in Dublin. Our office is smack in the middle of city center, overlooking Trinity and a stone’s throw from Grafton Street.

Some of the things you’ll be doing:
- Processing accounts payable, credit card, and employee expense transactions.
- Resolving accounts payable issues with vendors.
- Maintenance of vendor master files including contracts, forms, agreements, internal approvals, and other related documentation.
- Fulfilling various business tax and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Accomplishing external audit requests for supporting documentation.
- Providing cross-functional purchasing and operational expense support to key managers and employees across the company.
- Working with US headquarters on monthly close and reporting.
The right candidate likely has the following:
- 3+ years experience in an accounting organization, including experience in accounts payable.
- Superior work paper organization and attention to detail is required
- Recent SaaS General Ledger experience – preferably NetSuite
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and exposure to accounting applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively and work independently are a must
- Familiar with external audit processes and procedures is a plus
- Ability to speak Spanish would be a plus
- Bachelor’s degree, in accounting or finance
