Sr. Enterprise Systems Engineer
Box is seeking an experienced Sr. Enterprise Systems Engineer to join its IT team in Los Altos to play a critical role in building an enterprise data integration capability. This role requires a highly technical and experienced professional to architect, develop, and deploy integrations of cloud applications across the enterprise. The role is extremely cross functional and is aimed at increasing efficiency and reducing errors across all groups.
Responsibilities
- Develop technical solutions to integrate data between cloud applications to eliminate manual work and drive data consistency
- Deploy and monitor integration solutions
- Ensure security and compliance needs are embedded in the core design of solutions
- Define solutions that align with an overall strategic data architecture
- Push the envelope of what is possible with automation
- Prioritize a slate of projects given business needs and technical progress
- Contribute to the overall strategy for data integration across the company
Qualifications
- 3-5 years in a software development or data integration role
- Strong programming ability with Java or Python
- Familiarity with web APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Operations and system monitoring experience
- Experience in software/system design and development methodologiesExcellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong bias for action and ability to deal with ambiguityHighly flexible, ability to multi-task across a number of simultaneous projects
- Passion for cloud technologies
