Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Workflow and Governance

As our Senior Product Marketing Manager, you'll partner closely with our Product Management, Sales, Engineering and Customer Success teams - not to mention customers like P&G, Netflix, Toyota and Allergan - to make Box the industry standard for Enterprise Content Collaboration and power a revolution in more user-centric IT practices.

Responsibilities

    • Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for core Box features and use cases based on our Workflow, Governance and other IT-focused products
    • Drive messaging, competitive positioning, collateral creation, sales enablement and high-impact launches
    • Establish a clear definition of our target customer segments, prioritization and approach
    • Manage integrated campaigns designed to engage with IT decision makers, create market awareness, and promote Box thought leadership around Enterprise Content Collaboration
    • Manage a strategic approach to product development and launch, based on customer insight, market research, customer adoption, and market awareness

Key Activities and Cross-functional Engagement at Box

    • Support Sales, Business Development and Customer Success teams with compelling tools and collateral
    • Engage directly with prospects, customers and partners to help them be more successful with the platformLead the creation of datasheets, solution pages, technical guides, white papers, case studies, and webinars
    • Partner with the Box PR and Analyst Relations (AR) teams to drive awareness and interest in Box
    • Work with the events team to create compelling event content, structure and followup

Qualifications

    • At least 3-5 years of product marketing experience, with some experience working with direct sales and selling to businesses
    • Strong business and technical writing skills. Can you explain the benefits of our platform to a CIO? Can you convince a development team that our platform is the best technical solution to their problem? Can you deliver an effective message, in 14,000 words or 140 characters?
    • You can point with pride to something creative you’ve done in the workplace or in your personal life
    • You like ambiguity and can still plan/execute in an environment where things are not always crystal clear
