ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about sales, like to uncover new opportunities, connected in the Philadelphia market, and adept at navigating through client organizations to get to the right people?
Centro’s Philadelphia Account Executive will be responsible for developing strong relationships and growing business from agencies (small to large) and client in-house agencies across Eastern Pennsylvania.
We’re looking for someone that has sales experience as well as recent agency and/or client experience.
Centro is a technology and services company that builds and executes multi-channel digital solutions for clients.
Successful candidates can demonstrate intellectual curiosity to seek out emerging technologies and innovative tactics to solve business challenges cross-vertical and showcase thought leadership. This AE will also be responsible for working with the Media Operations and Publisher Relations teams to develop and execute online campaigns.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The AE will be based in Philadelphia, and a key member of the East Region Sales team, working alongside one other AE in the Philadelphia market.
The East Sales team is headed by a Regional Vice President and four Regional Sales Directors. Our NYC office serves as the regional hub, and this Philly AE will be encouraged to spend a few days a month in the NYC office engaging with the larger team.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Possess existing agency/client relationships to help set up meetings out of the gate
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities through cold calling and networking
- Hit/Exceed established revenue goals
- Familiarity with industry trends, research tools and analysis
- Research opportunities thoroughly and proactively, identifying an advertiser's needs while working with Media Operations to propose efficient solutions
- Present the value proposition of Centro to digital clients through intelligent, exciting presentations
- Establish strong relationships with advertising agency and client direct personnel, including all decision-makers and key influencers from junior media planners to top management
- Work with Account Manager(s) to present supporting research for media strategies and publisher recommendations
- Respond to campaign reporting results and recommend optimizations in conjunction with Account Manager and Campaign Analyst
- Collaborate with Account Managers on client requests regarding research data and tactics
- Interact with key online publishing partners to secure ad inventories and specialized ad products
- Become a positive and influential presence in your region
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of in-market digital media experience (digital media sales preferred); 5+ years experience in advertising and media preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
- Proven ability to grow sales opportunities within existing client base
- Proven ability to prospect, cold-call and create new sales opportunities
- Desire to build lasting client and vendor relationships
- Excellent presentation skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational, business writing and negotiation skills
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook)
- Familiarity with ComScore, Nielsen/NetRatings, @Plan, Media Audit a plus
- Use of sales / CRM software (e.g. Salesforce.com, etc.) a plus
