ABOUT THE ROLE
The Director of Social and Native Solutions will work to drive Centro’s revenue growth of social and native advertising channels across multiple digital platforms by providing thought leadership, education and scalable efficiency through proactive developmental solutions. This role works closely with Centro’s Sales and Media Operations teams to encourage increased adoption and sales among Centro’s growing client base of agencies and advertisers throughout the North America. The position reports into the Sr. Director, Digital Innovations.
ABOUT THE DIGITAL INNOVATIONS TEAM
The Digital Innovations team is a specialized group of media and technology strategists who focus on emerging media channels, educating and training the Media Operations and Sales teams on why and how to integrate innovative media into impactful media solutions for Centro’s clients, as well as engaging directly with clients to promote cross-platform media strategies and tactics.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as Centro’s internal expert on social and native advertising
- Identify and lead development of social media and native advertising product solutions and services, from expanded offering and ongoing collateral development, to national roll-out and plan implementation
- Promote the integration of social media and native advertising solutions and products with Centro’s core digital media planning client offering
- Regularly engage regional Sales and Media Operations colleagues to ensure appropriate adoption and upsell within plans, establish opportunities for in-market client-facing presentations, as well as address growth opportunities in a timely manner
- Development and implementation of training programs for social and native advertising
- Keep abreast of channel developments through trade publications, industry conferences, seminars and in fostering strong relationships with publishers and technology vendors via frequent outreach and communication
- Provide regular POVs on evolving social media and native advertising trends, information, and learnings to ensure Centro’s Sales and Media Operations teams are up-to-date with offerings and developments with the potential to grow revenue
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5-7 years of digital advertising experience, with 3 years of emphasis on social and/or native
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of social media trends (paid and organic) across platforms, as well as experience in native advertising planning
- Detail oriented with excellent communication, presentation, and business writing skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to operate and succeed as both an individual and as a team
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
- Willingness to travel (~25%)
EDUCATION
- College degree or higher
