We are looking for exceptional senior sales individuals to play an integral role in our EMEA growth. The ideal candidate has worked with advertisers and agencies in the online media space, understands the social media landscape and is able to build significant long-term partnerships with marketers. You will be responsible for revenue goals and building strategic partnerships with key accounts.
Roles & Responsibility
- Develop strategic plan to achieve target revenue goals; hit or exceed these growth goals
- Partner with clients to understand strategic needs and deliver resources to deliver against client business objectives
- Develop and expand client partnerships with a focus on key clients in specific verticals
- Understand and effectively communicate value proposition, technology, processes, and partnerships as they relate to the growth of current and prospective client accounts
- Understand social media, category-specific trends and the opportunities for Adaptly; report on the macro and micro forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
- Leverage and expand existing knowledge of the digital media industry including developing innovations in mobile, social, and emerging media
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in online advertising in an agency role or senior sales role
- Vertical expertise with senior client contacts
- Demonstrated the ability to build partnerships with large brands, must have a passion for customer focus; proven track record as a trusted advisor to clients
- Deep understanding of the digital media industry with an ability to credibly articulate strategic insights for clients that are based on data/research
- Background or experience in selling technology solutions to top brands and agencies in the online media industry
- Ability to drive the sales process from plan to close—including stakeholder identification, customer influence, relationship building, and closing
- Strong skills in solution development and an ability to produce client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions that improve/accelerate client campaigns
- History of selecting appropriate products from a diverse product suite to solve the client’s advertising objectives
- Ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and position them against competitors
- Excellent listening, negotiation, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong consultative sales skills; personable and charismatic with a sense of humor
- Bachelor’s Degree
