The Product Growth Team conducts in product experiments to try to figure out what makes our customers tick. We act completely independently of the main product teams so we can come up with ideas, implement them and deploy them to millions of JIRA and Confluence users in less than a day. We are driven by data and have a team of data scientists and analysts that analyze the results of our experiments and search for patterns amongst the noise. If you love trying new ideas and crunching data rather than opinion, we're the team for you. This role has a focus on user growth:
- Developing A/B tests in Java and JavaScript using our rapid testing environment to understand and influence users
- Using the resulting understanding of user behaviours to come up with further ideas for helping
- Users with our software and building out those ideas as further A/B tests to see if you're right
The role entails:

Required skills:
- Commercial experience building and maintaining code written in both Java and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with modern technologies.
- Familiarity with JavaScript libraries like jQuery, RequireJS, Raphaël and Backbone.
- Excellent understanding of Java and working on products built in Java.
- Passion for usability, simplicity and consistency in software development.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.

- 3+ years of commercial experience in a similar role.
