Atlassian is looking for a new rockstar to join our Renewals (aka Loyalty Advocates) team! This opportunity is perfect for someone with an unmatched passion for understanding customer’s needs and connecting the dots to make them continuously successful with our software and happy with our services. If you have experience selling software maintenance renewals & upgrades, if you can thoughtfully engage existing customers by phone and email, if you are creative and analytical, we want to talk to you!

What you'll do 

  • Increase the software maintenance renewal rate through effective inside sales techniques
  • Improve our understanding of why some customers stay and some customers churn in order to drive improvements in tactics and strategy
  • Maintain deep understanding of product updates and new offerings and articulate those improvements to customers
  • Track sales activities, customer data and customers' status within internal systems (Salesforce.com)
  • Increase customers' awareness of Atlassian product portfolio to drive cross-sell and up-sell

  • Inside sales experience
  • Proven ability to understand technology, and clearly articulate the value proposition to the customer
  • Ability to establish rapport and build relationships over the phone
  • Strong attention to detail, polished verbal/written communication skills
  • Dedication to continuous improvement
  • A strong customer service ethic
  • experience with SFDC (salesforce.com)
  • English + fluency in French.

You would be a perfect fit if...

  • You have sold maintenance renewals, upgrades and other portfolio products to existing accounts via outbound phone calls and emails
  • You have consistently met or exceeded your goals - but your main focus is always on driving value for the customer
  • You have experience with managing sales funnel and sales opportunities within salesforce.com platform 
  • You know what it takes to champion the needs of the customers (particularly in relation to popular feature requests)
  • You are articulate, sharp and engaging

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum of 3 years experience in inside sales, customer success or similar roles
  2. Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude
  3. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  4. Intelligent, strong attention to detail, independent thinker
  5. Analytical and problem solving skills
  6. Desire to work in a rapid growth environment and open to taking on new responsibilities
  7. Bachelor's Degree
  8. Creativity and a sense of humor
