We're looking for candidates passionate about IT security to join our team as
Security Automation Engineer
The IT Security Team is responsible to find and prevent security issues and help developers become security conscious in an environment where concepts, codebase and infrastructure are changing rapidly.
What does rapidly mean in numbers? 80 engineers, 150 deploys every week, sometimes several hundreds of AWS instances. We trust our fellow engineers, the languages they choose and the machines they fire up at their will.
Fear of making mistakes can squash innovation and creativity. With that in mind we are continuously developing automated tools which detect risky changes - be this change in our AWS infrastructure, in our codebase or at the OS level - without blocking anyone but still make it possible to react quickly.
We face state-of-the-art issues every day so we need to develop state-of-the-art solutions:
we review alerts from the various automated tools we developed
sometimes we get amazed by the vulnerabilities we get from our bug bounty program
we always try to learn from our mistakes and recognise new patterns from previous issues, sometimes we will just improve our existing detection tools, but it happens that we have to build up something totally new
we help other teams in finding the best acceptable security fixes
we want to share our knowledge, within Prezi or anywhere else so others can learn from our mistakes or successes
we definitely (but not exclusively) work with people of various kind, a huge infrastructure with chef and aws and programming/scripting languages like python
What we expect from you:
a curious mind with a desire to share
ability to think out of the box and see the “big picture”
ability and desire to code solutions for world-class challenges
hacker mindset
What we offer you:
the chance to commit from day one
support improving your skills
people that will listen to your opinions and value them
the chance to work in our San Francisco office for a couple of weeks a year
the opportunity to go to tech conferences anywhere in the world
a really cool office environment to work in (or you can occasionally work from home if you feel like it)
free quality-food and a nice atmosphere all day long in the Prezi Bistro
the chance to receive stock options and become your own employer
