Senior Director, Client Analytics | Centro

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is a critical hire for Centro at an opportune time in our history.  With the shift in Centro’s value proposition from local media buying efficiency to a software as a service media platform, this role will be key to build & deliver the client service to enable this transformation for clients.  Combining multiple platforms & buying mechanisms, this role will be responsible working with sales to define and deliver against client objectives.  Defining solution templates, building predictive analytic calculators, helping in the solution sell-in of media campaigns to clients, building and optimizing campaigns, and using results to define further opportunities.

ABOUT THE TEAM
This position will be the first hire within the region with the intent to create a new team from the ground up to extend our analytical services for clients.  This team will be a core part of the Data & Analytics team at Centro and will align together with the Strategic Insights team.  The Client Analytics team will help advance our mission to help improve our client’s brand and performance goals with their Centro media campaigns.  This team will work closely with the sales and other service teams to deliver against this mission in a dynamic, ever changing environment.     


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be an analytic leader at Centro in advocating for the use of data & analysis to improve on our solutions and programs for clients
  • Build solution templates for a variety of different client marketing objectives including traditional objectives like new product launch, drive website traffic or brand awareness as well as CRM objectives such as grow, upsell or retain existing customers and acquire new ones
  • Work with clients to understand their data assets and existing analytical models to determine the best way to engage with Centro
  • Collaborate with internal Centro teams to design campaigns, create experiments, optimize programs and use results to define client opportunities
  • Be an expert in the use of 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data to improve results
  • Run different experiments with clients to prove the efficiency and effectiveness of Centro media campaigns
  • Lead the implementation and delivery of different attribution solutions for clients to demonstrate the return on ad spend as well as a better way to strategically deploy media
  • Department Head or Senior Director of research and analytics at a large scale media agency, major media measurement company, or major media mix modeling company.
  • Leader of Agency Client Solutions at a major media measurement company.
  • Prior experience in developing and leveraging Consumer Insights and Media Trends.
  • Strong understanding of different vendors and techniques for collecting & creating 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data assets
  • Prior experience  of different vendors in the DMP space with capabilities around tag management, cookie matching as well as attribution
  • Strong ties and experience with media sales and/or client solutions

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of media research, insights and/or analytics work in the advertising industry
  • Strong educational background in business, mathematics, engineering, statistics or quantitative field of study with advanced degree preferred (MBA, MS, PH.D.)
  • Hands on leader who is able to be agile for clients while building amazing things internally
  • Interpersonal communication skills:  have the ability to explain the most technical concepts to non-technical clients and Centrons.
  • Prior leadership of a data and/or analytics department at a large scale agency, media provider or media measurement company covering both traditional and digital media
