Supplier Performance Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Follow-up with supplier to obtain acknowledgement of purchase orders and promise dates for new purchase orders.
- Ensure that delivery dates on Purchase Orders are accurate and up to date.
- Expedite part numbers that will negatively impact the Production schedule.
- Escalate to buyer and Purchasing Management supply issues that will cause impact to Production.
- Provide regular updates to the buyer, purchasing management, production control and engineering on the delivery of parts.
- Provide regular delivery scorecard information to suppliers.
- Resolve invoices and Receiving issues impacting the purchase order
- Maintain current supplier contact information.
- Maintain NDA and ITAR records for compliance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Prefer a solid understanding of DOE, GD&T, SPC or Mechanical Fabrication techniques.
- Highly prefer experience with Mechanical Fabricated parts or jigs, fixtures, tooling, injection molding, plastics, ceramics, machine shop (CNC, Mills, Lathes) experience is required.
- MSME/BSME, or equivalent or MBA is a plus.
- Demonstrated success with managing a project/program to completion.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, remarkable problem solving skills.
- Strong technical knowledge and skills in current technologies and applications, especially MS Office Suite.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Position requires long hours and some nights and weekends.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced environment.
- Travel is required - up to 50-70%.

- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
