Gallery Relations Intern
Artsy seeks a driven and self-motivated individual to assist in expanding Artsy’s presence worldwide. This role is at the very core of Artsy’s mission to build one of the largest collections of contemporary art available online, and requires supporting partners’ artist programs and managing their online inventory on Artsy.
You will have an opportunity to collaborate with Artsy’s gallery and art fair teams, allowing you to build your skills in market research, data mining, and gallery relations. This is a challenging role that requires the navigation of a constantly-changing market, long-term content management, and a wide network of gallery professionals.
The ideal candidate is well-versed in the art market and experienced in database management, with at least one or two previous art world internships. He or she confidently takes initiative while handling multiple projects at once, is meticulous about the details, and works seamlessly as a team player.
The internship is based at Artsy HQ in downtown Manhattan and starts immediately. It is a paid position, either part-time or full-time, and will last at least 3 months or a full semester.
