People Partner
Box’s People Team focuses on attracting, developing, and retaining world-class talent. And the way we do it is simple: by fostering an environment that keeps Boxers growing, productive, and happy. The People Partner is an integral part of the People Team. We are looking to add a dynamic, hands-on People Partner to partner with the Sr. People Partner, Technical Teams to help us grow our unique, innovative culture while we dramatically scale. In addition, you will be managing multiple people projects simultaneously in efforts to continue to develop our people programs and excite and retain Boxers on our technical teams, made up primarily of engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working closely with managers on people-related needs
- Provide core human resources support to the client groups, particularly in the areas of performance management and employee relations
- Work with the Sr. People Partner to advice and support assigned managers regarding change initiatives, people/performance decisions and actions, talent management & development, reward optimization, retention and engagement, employee communication, culture management, diversity, and HR programs
- Be the owner of creating and maintaining initiatives based on feedback from our bi-annual engagement surveys, in partnership with technical leadership teams
- Act as a liaison between the People Team, client groups, and other stakeholders at Box, all while representing Box values and culture
- Lead coaching and feedback efforts and make recommendations based on a combination of past experiences and Box knowledge
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-5 years applicable HR experience
- General knowledge of all functional areas in HR
- Demonstrated ability scaling processes and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think critically, problem solve, and recommend effective solutions
- Willingness to adapt to changing circumstancesExceptional organization and project management skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of the tech industryExperience working at companies big (500+) and small
- A sense of humor!
- A passion for cloud technologies
