Education and Development Strategist | Centro

ABOUT THE ROLE

Centro’s Education and Development Specialist will play a large role in the development and implementation of ongoing programs for our peeps, supporting the beliefs of the Manifesto.

This rockstar will formulate, develop, and execute the education and development strategy for Centro’s business with the goal of fostering organization, team and individual effectiveness and achieve short and long term business objectives.  It will be essential that the focus is on employee experience with the objective to drive organizational growth.  The Education and Development Strategist will create e-Learning videos to be hosted on Centro’s Learning Management System, work closely with Management to develop and facilitate interactive education programs for Sales and Operations, and support other Education and Development initiatives as needed.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must live and breathe the Centro Employee Manifesto principles, character traits, and leadership qualities.
  • Work with Management to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate training curriculum.
  • Create and own various E&D programs that support the corporate strategy; partner with VPs and collaboratively work with Talent & Development to ensure all strategies are aligned with Centro’s vision.
  • Spearhead creation of training materials while working cross-functionally with internal teams to assess needs and design interactive and creative trainings that meet those needs.
  • Design and deliver high-impact education & development programs that is on par with the vision of Centro.
  • All requests and inquiries are approached with genuine acknowledgement: a smiling face and thoughtful responses.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Natural ability to lead engaging education & development efforts with a broad range of audience, from anywhere to a recent Big 10 graduate to one of Centro’s brilliant VPs, Directors, or Supervisors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; the passion to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external partners and Business Leaders (i.e. supervisors and senior management).
  • Procrastination is not in your vocabulary and you are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to seamlessly alternate between the tactical and strategic responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook required.  
  • 3+ years of Industry experience.
  • Solid understanding of Centro’s business and internal processes a plus.
  • Previous experience using Articulate software to create eLearning videos preferred.
  • Ability to travel to remote offices (25%)
  • Ability to develop a distinct Centro style based on Manifesto and customer needs.
