AP Specialist (Austin, TX)
This role will be involved in all aspects of invoice processing. We need a high energy, hands-on individual with the people skills to work with individuals across the organization. A successful candidate must have the ability to operate effectively in a rapidly scaling, dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for processing high volume and full cycle accounts payable including 3-way PO matching, 2-way matching and check requests. This includes routing invoices for approvals, coding and entering invoices, and processing payments
- Ensure entered bills, invoices, and check requests have the appropriate supporting documents,approvals and account/department coding
- Resolve purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies
- Obtain, maintain and update vendor records (W-9’s, WT, payment mailing addresses, etc.)
- Responsible for vendor relations Interface with vendors as well as employees (all departments)
- Review and process weekly employee expense reports in Concur
- Support US and international employees with Concur expense reporting inquiries
- Support and reconcile the credit card program by facilitating employees to submit expenses for charges in Concur; escalate to AP Lead when necessary
- Related administrative duties such as copying, filing and maintaining vendor accounts
- Participation in the year-end audit
- Provide support to the finance team and all other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 year degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or economics
- 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience, including accruals, reconciliations and accounting processes, in a high-growth environment
- Software / SaaS experience is a plus
- Ability to adhere to the highest ethical standards and unwavering integrity
- Experience with NetSuite, Coupa and Concur is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Requires a collaborative and team-oriented attitude working with all organizations throughout the company
- Strong analytical, research, problem solving and evaluative thinking skills
- Acute attention to detail and well developed organization and time management skills
- Well-developed sense of urgency and follow through
- Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
