With a strong EMEA marketing team and a global product marketing team already in place, we’re looking for a dynamic marketer in London to bridge the gap and provide local product marketing support, messaging, and content.

Overview

    • We’re looking for an ambitious, hard-working, strategic, and eloquent marketer with experience leading EMEA product marketing for a fast-growing SaaS or tech company.
    •  At a global level, our product marketing team is producing content on how Box is a fit for companies of different sizes, in different industries, and with different line of business needs. The EMEA PMM will work to take this content and mold it to fit the needs of the region. Thinking about how the needs of EMEA businesses differ from those in the US – unique use cases, verticals, compliance considerations – the product marketer will help us articulate the value of Box to better speak to our EMEA audiences.
    • Being the first product marketer in EMEA, you’ll need to be a talented generalist who can wear a lot of hats. Working on diverse projects, from whitepapers to campaign content, from presentations to customer programs, you’ll be the go-to person, messaging engine, and content owner for all things product marketing in EMEA.

Responsibilities

    • Own Product Marketing in EMEA – articulate the Box messaging and value prop and modify it to fit the EMEA audiences we are addressing
    • Work closely with the global product marketing team at HQ to ensure the content you are producing/modifying for the region fits within our global messaging and strategy
    • Be the content engine and approver for the EMEA marketing team – we’re constantly producing content for lead gen campaigns, channel activity, and awareness, and you’ll sit at the heart of these efforts, working hand-in-hand with the team
    • Own presentations for EMEA events – we do about 30 speaking opportunities annually, so you’ll be heavily involved in working with executives to ensure they have the content they need
    • Drive customer content for the region – case studies, customer reference slides, content for the website
    • Adapt content produced by the teams at HQ to account for regional and cultural nuances – these will be both EMEA-wide and country-specific depending on the need
    • Work closely with sales engineering and sales leadership to ensure our marketing messaging aligns with the needs we’re hearing from customers and prospects
    • Get creative in leveraging spokespeople and experts inside and outside of the company for campaign assets
    • Be prepared to wear a lot of hats – even though our team in EMEA has grown substantially, we still like to function like a nimble, fast-moving startup

Qualifications

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • BA/BS (or equivalent) from a top tier university
    • 6+ years product marketing experience – preferably focused on SaaS product marketing or relevant technology company
    • Impeccable cross-functional skills, as you’ll be working with people from many different teams
    • Resourceful and creative
    • Passionate about working with cutting-edge technology
    • Team player - organizing and managing with multiple stake-holders and groups contributing
    • Self-motivated and self-managed: able to think independently, get feedback, move ahead, while still keeping everyone in the loop
    • Overwhelming desire to kick-ass and grow in your career
    • Inspired by working with a fun, ambitious, slightly wacky team in a fast-paced startup environment
    • Passion for Cloud technologies

Adaptly - Media Manager EMEA

Apply to this job

Media Manager EMEA

London, UK
Media Operations
Full time

Are you passionate about digital media and have at least a year of experience in ad operations or digital media? Are you obsessed with excellence, and self-motivated to be the best at everything you do? Are you a bit of a perfectionist? Do you get joy out of analyzing large sets of data? Are you insanely meticulous and detail oriented? Are you excited by the idea of being the “CEO” of your own domain and owning millions of dollars of media spend for some of the biggest brands in the world? Do you want to be part of one of the fastest growing companies in social advertising? If so then read on... Adaptly offers both a technology solution and a professional services solution. For self-serve clients we provide a proprietary technology that makes it easy to advertise across multiple social networks. For advertisers and agencies that want more support we provide professional services, using our in-house experts (Media Managers) to manage their social ad campaigns for them. Managing these campaigns is the primary responsibility of the Media Manager. As a Media Manager you are 100% responsible for the success of the campaigns you run, working side by side with client services and sales to ensure a top-notch client experience. As such, reliability, diligence, teamwork and a strong drive to achieve the best performance possible are of the utmost importance.

The Day to Day

    • DEPLOYMENT
    • Pre-deployment strategy & planning ? This includes activities involved in preparing a campaign for launch such as kick-off meetings with Client Services and Sales leads, implementing and testing tracking tags, and establishing your audience targeting and data strategy.
    • Deployment - Launching campaigns in Adaptly’s platform.
    • OPTIMIZATION
    • At its simplest “A/B testing” involves launching two different ad variations, Ad A and Ad B, collecting performance data, and adjusting to what is performing the best. Take this concept, but instead of two ad variations think about hundreds or thousands of ad variations, and all the “levers” you can pull in real time to establish the optimal mix of ad variations. This is optimization. It is the heart of the Media Manager role, and the most challenging part of the job. Part art and part science, it’s where the true genius lies.
    • REPORTING & INSIGHTS
    • Provide in depth campaign reports and insights to clients, client services, and sales.
    • PRODUCT FEEDBACK
    • As the primary users of Adaptly’s product, Media Managers have a big responsibility to give product feedback and help guide our product roadmap. One of the best parts of the job for anyone interested in technology!

Requirements

    • 1+ years experience in ad operations or digital media a MUST.
    • Strong analytical skills and ability to mine large sets of data for actionable insights.
    • Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, including knowledge of pivot tables.
    • Attention to detail and precise data input is essential.
    • Willingness and ability to work additional hours, whenever this is reasonably necessary to ensure optimal campaign performance
