Payroll Specialist
We are looking for a high-energy, bright individual to help oversee the payroll process for our multi-state payroll. This will be the primary role responsible for processing our domestic payroll. This role will also serve as the main point of contact for all payroll inquiries regarding timesheets and paychecks. This role will reconcile and analyze all timesheet data while maintaining payroll compliance. We’re looking for game-changers who will take charge of payroll, improve processes, and be a resource for the entire company. Responsibilities
- Effective, accurate, timely and efficient processing, calculating and payment of payroll and other related compensation expense.
- Monitor and oversee the integrity of timekeeping data and provide reports as needed to management.
- Ensure proper deductions for taxes, FSA, medical, gym, and all other benefit programs.
- Accurately track and focus on processing non-exempt hours, overtime, shift premiums, PTO and sick leave. Track and reconcile timesheets submitted by non-exempt employees in order to calculate OT/DT adjustments
- Prepare and calculate special checks routinely and/or on demand, i.e., termination pay, etc.
- Update 401k/Roth contributions submitted via Fidelity and update payroll Workday system to reflect proper contributions for the period
- Track and monitor the company gym direct bill benefit program
- Responsible for the W2 recording of all gifts reported via the Concur expense reporting system
- Serve as a main contact for all payroll related matters for all Boxers in a timely manner (within 24hrs)
- Effective collaboration with the global People Organization, Legal, Accounting, Finance and business units on general payroll matters with cross functional impact. Specifically, but is not limited to, new hire processes, cash, bonus and other non-recurring payment processing, and terminations.
- Assist with or be responsible for other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- BA degree in Accounting or Finance, CPP certification a strong plus
- At least 2 or more years experience with multi-state Payrolls larger than 500 employees, both exempt and non-exempt employees
- Customer service background a plus
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High-functioning, working knowledge of payroll processing best practices and procedures, relevant payroll related standards, regulations and other related requirements to process payroll timely and accurately.
- Acute attention to detail and well developed organization and time management skills.
- Must be self-motivated, flexible, deadline-oriented and able to complete tasks with limited supervision.
- Exceptional multitasking abilities, upbeat demeanor, and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication skills - including ability to listen to the needs of others and comprehend complex matters, articulate issues in a clear and concise manner, and present effectively in both oral and written presentations to all levels in the organization.
