CNC Mill Machinist- 5 Axis Okuma
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up and operating 5-Axis Okuma CNC Machining Centers.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in set up and operation of CNC Machining Centers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in shop math, tooling technology, blueprint reading and measurement of parts.
- Experience using precision measuring devices in a shop floor environment. (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with Siemens, Haas and Okuma Controls.
- Familiar with Fanuc Controls.
- Programming experience relative to understanding program coding and interpreting programs.
- Familiar with 5S principles.
- Familiar with MRP Systems.
- Proven capabilities to provide continuous improvement suggestions.
Additional Requirements:
- Repetitive movement, bending or twisting, using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls, exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting.
- Ability to work 2nd shift hours (3:30pm-2am),overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must be proficient at all types of machining center processing.
- Must be able to complete set-up and machining operations from blueprints, drawings and/or verbal instructions.
- Must have experience with complex, tight tolerance parts and various materials.
ITAR Requirements:
- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
