Industry Solution Architect
The Industry Solution Architect is part of Box Consulting and works across Box and with customers to define and build out solutions to support Box for Industries. The Industry Solution Architect is a high impact, high visibility role, responsible for driving Industry solution revenue while also ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include evaluating industry markets, identifying new customer industry needs, harvesting solution concepts from existing projects, piecing together solutions that leverage our product, ISVs, customizations and SI partners and launching them successfully with customers.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven track record in the creation and delivery of differentiated technology solutions that leverage partners and are aligned to a company go-to-market strategy
- Ability to architect solutions including piecing together the right mix of Box configuration, other SaaS technologies, integration technology, Box APIs and other partner technology to balance configuration and customization
- Excellent presentation skills including the ability to present both business oriented solutions and advanced technical concepts to Sr IT executives
- Experience leading projects, engaging with, and driving change across multiple levels of IT executives
- Consulting, Implementation, or direct work experience working in one of the following industries: Healthcare, Media and Entertainment, Retail or Financial Services
- Past experience working directly with ISVs and System Integrators
- 4-year technical degree required - B.S. Science or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of previous development, consulting, professional services or sales engineering experience
Responsibilities
- Supporting the creation of the industry solutions strategy, business case creation (including ROI), development and roll-out of new Box Consulting industry solutions
- Partnering cross functionally with Marketing, Platform, Product, Industry Leaders and Box Consulting to align solutions to company-level industry strategy
- Ongoing ownership of solutions and ensuring that solution components are maintained and updated as the Box product grows and industry use cases expand
- Design and develop project scope documentation, statements of work, technical specifications, and business requirements related to customer engagements
- Collaborate to define functional and technical requirements, and translate them into functional designs, workflows, governance documentation, proposals, and project plans
- Establish and oversee development and usage of best practices to continually drive incremental value and return on the customers investment
- Contribute to organizational process improvement, including processes related to developing use cases, knowledge management. Provide mentorship to other professional services team members

- Extensive content management experience, including SharePoint, eDiscovery, compliance, MDM, WCM, BPM, records management, etc
- Passion for learning, using and explaining new technology
- Ability to distill complex technical solutions and industry solutions into their digestible parts
- A team player that will help mentor teammates who are looking to get to the next level
- Experience working with and deploying SaaS applications
- Innate initiative to get things done, self-motivation and ability to deliver high quality work while at the same time meeting aggressive deadlines
- Experience in software development, design, testing, and deployment
- Deep understanding of integration technologies
