As a Product Marketing Manager for launches, you’ll be at the center of every product launch at Box – driving processes, aligning stakeholders from every department and executing communication plans to make our features stand out in a crowded marketplace. Each day will present new challenges to overcome and innovations to market, plus an opportunity to work with the best and brightest in the Silicon Valley.

Your challenges

    • Develop the endgame launch marketing plan, setting clear goals and orchestrating a high impact product launch with solid targeting, positioning, messaging and programs.
    • Coordinate with a rapidly-expanding cross functional team to make sure everyone’s ready to roll before a launch and playing their part to make it happen, including product, PR, engineering, sales, platform, support, backend and business development.
    • Be the master of our launch calendar. Keep the team organized and up to speed internally and communicate changes to our customers.
    • Drive the creation of launch design elements by working with our awesome brand team and product design team.
    • Partner effectively with Marketing and Sales to lead world-class product marketing communications for product launches
    • Communicate the value of new product features and capabilities to go-to-market teams and deliver the effective collateral that will support new customer acquisition and retention.
    • Drive product adoption and usage by supporting market facing programs and effective product launch support

Your Skills

    • BA/BS degree
    • 2-5 years of previous product marketing, public relations, marketing, product management, or program management experience preferred (full time).
    • Ability to craft detailed and high-judgment launch plans including messaging, pitch, and positioning
    • Closely follow emerging technology, consumer, and social trends and make recommendations for how products will leverage or fit into those emerging trends.
    • Scary-good at articulating the essence of products and the value they create.
    • Proven ability to influence and drive consensus with cross functional teams using strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
    • Thrive in a constantly changing environment – ready to move quickly, think on your feet and adapt to a fast-paced environment
    • A strong affinity for technology. You pay attention to what’s new in tech, and have an innate desire to understand how things work.
