Graphics Programming Specialist
Are you in beast mode when it comes to working on cutting-edge graphics technologies, interested to push the limits of graphics hardware? Do you want to play around with devices not yet released, or how about the occasional (and actual) phone discussions with some of the best engineers at Google, Apple, Amazon? Yep, that’s right. And in a gaming company, you are given specific often mundane tasks what to do. But at Rightware, we want to know what you think we should be doing! If you’re up for that kind of challenge, responsibility and fun, keep reading..
Rightware, based in Espoo with a presence in Germany, Silicon Valley, China, Korea and Detroit, is wedged between the gaming sector, design studio, and software company. We are literally the market leader in graphics and performance analysis tools (Benchmarks) for smartphones and embedded systems (think car infotainment), used by all the big players from operators to chip companies to phone manufacturers to car companies.. We are also the creators of the Kanzi UI Solution, interactive 2D and 3D user interface software, the most advanced UI design and deployment solution for high end automotive cockpits.
And we’re expanding! As a Graphics Programming Specialist on our Benchmarks team, you’ll get to work on bleeding-edge graphics technologies, working on your own (and part of a team), with plenty of responsibility. You’ll actively participate in Khronos API standardization groups, with the latest OpenGL APIs, able to give real input to the guys using them. We see this as a golden opportunity for you to extend your network in this technology field, all while creating and leading big brands to big technological change.
Example, we are on the cusp of creating the standard in benchmarking the current (and future) generations of automotive hardware, based on the latest devices from NVIDIA and Qualcomm. You would get to pave the way for where automotive hardware and graphics hardware is headed, pushing its limits, trying to figure out where and what we could achieve 2 years from now.
