Hmmm, you have to be really good at copy. Obvious right? Your words cut through the web clutter with authenticity, clarity, and persuasiveness. You can bring even the minutest detail to life and when people read your copy, a gentle smile comes across their face at the sheer goodness of it all.
You’re a web and product junkie. We build great SaaS software and make it available to developers on the web. It’s that simple. You know the best way to distill a product benefit or feature to its core.
Performance matters to you. Marketing is in the business of generating demand. We focus heavily on persuasive design and conversion. We have the luxury of testing anything on our site on a daily basis such as copy. Those last two sentences didn’t make your head hurt.
Working fast, lean, and agile doesn’t scare you. Our office has amazing views but you won’t find us staring out of the windows. You can develop multiple copy options quickly and be able to switch directions fast and still produce great stuff.
You have range and love honest feedback. You know the similarities and differences between copy for the web and for email. Your writing spans from slightly technical to irreverent/goofy and you know when to apply each style. You accept feedback well and accept that it’s a process.
You’re a stickler with the quality of you’re work. It’s not a typo, that sentence should bug you. You review your work and apply logic and reasoning to what you write.
You make things happen. We’re a lean and helpful team but you like “owning stuff” and can hit the ground running and be resourceful.

- Craft web and email copy that will help bring a new product to market.
- Work cross-functionally with various marketing teams and individuals to develop impactful and cohesive content for our website and landing pages.
- Collaborate with our email team to develop thoughtful and persuasive lifecycle emails for our users.
- Don’t forget, your words ooze a genuine emotion about them and you are all about persuasion.
- 3+ -5 years of experience writing for the web and app software industry (SaaS and B2B are preferred).
- You know the web and are current in tech trends.
- Journalism and editing experience are major pluses.
- Experience in design is a plus.
