We are looking for a world class Senior Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team. New Relic delivers first-class APM for 6 web programming languages and 2 native mobile languages. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for outbound product marketing activities specifically for Java and .NET APM with a particular focus on large enterprises with complex distributed software applications. In this role you will own product & competitive positioning, sales enablement, market & competitive analysis, product launches, customer development, and more for Java and .NET areas of New Relic APM.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience as a product marketing or product management professional at a software monitoring company targeting technical and business enterprise buyers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop positioning and messaging that resonates with our core audience: developers, IT Operations, and application owners
  • Enable the sales force by developing collateral and providing training
  • Develop marketing collateral: datasheets, eBooks, whitepapers, presentations, etc.
  • Perform market and competitive research and analysis
  • Plan and manage product launch activities
  • Work with product management and engineering to define product roadmap
  • Present at tradeshows and conferences

Requirements
  • 6+ years software product marketing or product management experience at software monitoring company
  • Thorough understanding of Java & .NET application development and management
  • Experience positioning technical products to both technical and business buyers
  • Technical depth and curiosity balanced with a strong business acumen
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
