Sr SW Engineer – Graphics/UI Framework Specialist

At Rightware, we are the leader in interactive 2D and 3D user interface (UI) software with our Kanzi UI solution. Kanzi is the world’s most advanced UI design and deployment solution for automotive, mobile and consumer devices. We also develop industry leading system performance benchmarking software. Currently we are looking for an intuitive Senior SW Engineer, creating a high-end rendering engine and UI framework. This is a highly visible role, on a small core team. You’ll work with the latest embedded technology (OpenGL ES 2.x 3.x OpenCL etc.), with streamlined and lightweight processes in use (no bureaucracy). You will work within the product development team, with a visible outcome, and you have the ability to actually make a difference, to make a real impact on the end product.
You’ll work on our core technology, your challenge being to build next generation user interface frameworks in cooperation with other highly talented team members. Your daily work involves the development of our 2D and 3D graphics engine, building technology that allows development of next generation user interfaces aimed for mobile & media applications, in vehicle infotainment systems, and digital clusters; Basically everywhere where you have a display nowadays (Digital Clusters, HMI/IVI, gaming Console UI, Smart TV, Mobile UI.)
We Require
- Strong experience in C/C++
- Experience with Multi-platform development/platform abstraction
- Experience with different UI frameworks
- Experience with DirectX, Openg GL or OpenGL ES
- Experience with GLSL, HLSL or CG
- Showcases you can show us from application, user interface or game development areas (able to show something special you have been doing)
