Description
Do you want to empower leaders at Atlassian by facilitating business planning, providing insight into business performance, and supporting decision-making? Join us as a Finance Manager and partner with executives, including CEO, CFO, GMs for product families and functional leaders, in preparing financial forecasts and metrics, reporting on business performance and developing analyses to support investment decisions. In this role you will take charge and lead the development and execution of annual & quarterly planning processes including P&Ls for product families and expense, headcount and capital budgets for functional organizations. You will provide monthly and quarterly budget vs. actual expense variance analysis and reporting. Overall, you will be responsible for analyzing a variety of complex financial metrics and their impact on the business. More about you This is a high-impact role with great visibility across the company and requires a person with a combination of strong analytical, communication, organizational, and relationship skills. We would love it if you had a Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years experience in commercial finance, investment banking, or equity research. The right fit will have strong Excel and financial modeling skills including pivot tables and v-lookups. It would be great if you have previous experience presenting to senior management. Bonus points for expertise in working with databases and SQL and for experience with Anaplan or a similar modeling tool.
