Apply NowDots is a new gaming company with two mobile hits so far (Dots and TwoDots). We’re a small, but quickly growing, team of multi-talented people. It’s important to us that every member of our team has a variety of skills and interests outside of engineering. We have big plans for many more games in the future and we’re looking to add more dynamic people to the team to help us grow! Specifically, we’re currently on the lookout for great mobile developers with Unity experience (bonus points for Unity 2D toolkit experience). You will of course be helping us build awesome games, but we’ll also be looking to you to help us lead the development of the Unity platform across future titles.
Working at Dots
Each title has a game designer paired with a mobile engineer. Our game designers know how to code and prototype, but are often self-taught and spend more time thinking about game mechanic, design, and user experience, so they work best when paired with a ridiculously talented and creative mobile engineer. You’ll enjoy working closely with our team on the entire design process and really owning the experience of the game you’re building.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience with mobile development
- Must have delivered multiple, full-featured games in Unity
- Self-reliant hacker that can quickly adopt new systems and languages
- Strong communicator with excellent problem solving skills
- Passion for great mobile games, but a good balance of interests and skills in other areas as well
