The Job

Your Responsibilities

• Develop new features.
• Participate in estimating features.
• Maximize use for our users by fixing bugs.
• Contribute to the system architecture.
• Sample projects:
• Self-Service Interface for our partner shops.
• Automate human tasks via machine learning.
• Build tools to predict financial success.
• Refactor our systems to match our growth.
• Help other departments scale by building tools to automate their processes.

Your Profile

• You have mastered one programming language, preferably python.
• You have worked in an agile, test-driven and interdisciplinary environment before.
• You want to take responsibility and ownership for the software you produce.
• Enabling others through your work motivates you..

Your Team

• We build software to improve the user experience and monetization of our website.
• We are an agile team, doing sprints of two weeks.
• We code primarily in python.
• We code on all sorts of platforms: 44% MacOS, 27% Ubuntu, 22% Windows, 5% Arch.
• We have JIRA ticket updates and Jenkins messages in Hipchat, plus we trigger deploys from here.
