Country Marketing Manager - Japan - HubSpot - Job Board

As a Country Marketing Manager for Japan at HubSpot, you will be solely responsible for setting and implementing the marketing strategy to grow our partners, customers, and revenue in your region.  This is an amazing opportunity to be a “regional-CMO” at a company known worldwide as a marketing thought leader.  This role includes the following activities:

  • Work closely with the corporate marketing team to implement localized campaigns to effectively communicate brand and product positioning to local audiences
  • Manage all inbound marketing - blogging, social media, SEO, and marketing automation - for your region.  Leverage content (blog articles, ebooks, presentations, videos, etc.) from other regions using our translation agency, or develop region-specific content as needed.
  • Engage in social media for your region with a goal of increasing reach and engagement
  • Analyze marketing performance and use data to optimize campaigns and improve results
  • Report on marketing for your region to cross-functional teams and executive leadership including the CMO and SVP of Global Sales
  • Ensure excellent communication and coordination with corporate marketing and regional sales team
  • Work with product management to influence product road map to increase revenue in your region

Skills and Abilities:

  • Prefer 4+ years of experience in a marketing role
  • Language skills: Native Japanese speaker, fluent in English
  • BA/BS degree required, MBA is a plus
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, you should be determined to dramatically grow revenue in your region
  • Ability to develop a deep understanding of your regional market
  • Professional experience with inbound marketing required
  • Ability to act as peer and trusted advisor to regional sales team
  • Good presentation skills with an ability to present HubSpot’s value proposition to external audiences
  • Able to multi-task and handle stress and work-peaks
  • Enthusiastic and self-supportive with the ability to work independently
  • Good team player and strong influencer in a team environment
  • Able to travel

This role will be based in Boston, Dublin or Sdyney for the first year and subsquently move to our  APAC HQ.
