Propulsion Designer
 
Responsibilities:

  • Candidate will use Unigraphics NX6 to design liquid rocket system components and rocket engine components and assemblies.
  • Work closely with our Propulsion Analysts and Design Engineers to produce detailed 3-D CAD models of propulsion components and systems.
  • Familiarity with liquid rocket fluid systems and components, including valves, seals, fittings, bellows and injectors strongly preferred. 

 Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years 3-D CAD design experience
  • Minimum 1 year ANSYS FEA modeling exprerience

Preferred skills:

  • Familiarity and experience with turbomachinery.
  • Ability to pre-size components using Finite Element Modeling.
  • Proficiency with Unigraphics NX6

ITAR Requirements:

  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
