Structures Payload Accommodations Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Use CAD, hand tools and finite element tools to design and analyze flight support equipment and other associated systems for payloads.
- Follow, verify and develop customer and internal requirements
- Document and present designs both internally and to customers
Requirements:
- Minimum BSME, BSCE or BS degree in related area
- Experience with structural design
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Preferred skills and Experience:
- Experience with CAD and FEA packages
- Experience with Unigraphics NX6+
- Experience with FEMAP
ITAR Requirements:
- To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
