About the Position:

As Translator Recruiter, you are an important part of Gengo's proprietary crowd-sourcing process and platform. You are responsible for making data-driven decisions to grow our pool of translators across specific language pairs on a daily basis. 

A strong candidate for this position works well individually and on a team, is metric-driven, very comfortable with technology and extremely detail-oriented.

 

Responsibilities:

• Adjust acquisition strategy based on company vision and priorities
• Build language pairs “Just In Time” in response to demand
• Use SEM, social media, and other online community building techniques
• Manage content creation and SEO for organic user acquisition
• Monitor the cost of translator acquisition and evaluate it against language pair-specific metrics
• Work with Operations team to improve conversion and retention of users

 

Requirements:

• Prior experience in user acquisition, human resources and/or marketing
• A high comfort-level with Google spreadsheets and Microsoft Excel 
• A good understanding of user conversion, grassroots marketing and SEM/SEO
• Ability to handle multiple demands in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
• Native-level English, comfortable writing and evaluating ad copy

 

Bonus skills:

• Previous exposure to Google AdWords
• Previous exposure to SQL
