Atlassian is seeking an experienced Sr. IT Product Manager on our Business Systems Team (IT). This role would be accountable for owning and delivering value within the "Order to Cash" and Finance IT product stream. The Business Systems team is tasked with optimizing the systems and processes that drive Atlassian from order to cash, purchasing, talent management and recruiting. This role will lead the Product Management in the order to cash, purchasing, and financial systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams within a quick-paced, fast-growing company to deliver awesome results.
- Lead product team to successfully and efficiently deliver on vision on an ongoing basis
- Assist in the development & selling of the vision for Atlassian's Business Systems
- Report on progress to the IT management team on a regular basis
- Provide direct line management to direct reports, including performance reviews
Main Responsibilities
- Engage with internal stakeholders to gather key initiatives and requirements to be worked into roadmap
- Develop yearly (medium term) and quarterly (short term) product roadmaps
- Socialize and gain buy in on roadmaps from stakeholders at all levels (internal departments, IT leadership team, senior executive)
- Work with finance and order management leadership and stakeholders to set the long term vision for the product stream and deliver to that vision
- Work with development team lead to allocate resources required to deliver on roadmap
- Work with IT leadership team to perform macro re-allocation of resources between product streams if required
- Lead the design, project management and implementation of technical solutions
- Evaluate current and future business needs
- Make data driven decisions using information from our centralised databases
- Recommend and implement improvements in business processes and IT systems
- Gather, document and interpret business requirements
Experience
- Motivated, no-bullshit self-starter. Creative. Data-Driven. Pragmatic.
- Relaxed yet enthusiastic attitude
- 7+ years IT analysis and management experience - ideally in a high tech, software company working on major back-office platform IT initiatives
- Experience defining an order management, billing & financial systems capability / strategy
- Experience leading cross functional teams (developers + business analysts)
- BS/BA/IT Degree or equivalent experience
- Amazing analytical and problem solving skills, with an attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent prioritization skills to individually detect and deliver the most important things first
- Proven ability to lead, coach and manage a team of Analysts, Developers, and/or Product Managers across multiple office locations
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Experience with order and billing management solutions
- Experience with ERP platforms (i.e, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Infor, Epicor)
- Experience with subscription order and billing management solutions
- Experience with implementing SaaS solutions above preferred
- MBA or Business degree
- Software development experience
