Atlassian is seeking an experienced Sr. IT Product Manager on our Business Systems Team (IT). This role would be accountable for owning and delivering value within the "Business System / Talent Systems" IT product stream. The Business Systems team is tasked with optimizing the systems and processes that drive Atlassian from order to cash, purchasing, talent management and recruiting. This role will lead the Product Management for talent systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with executive stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams within a quick-paced, fast-growing company to deliver awesome results.
- Lead product area to successfully and efficiently deliver on vision on an ongoing basis
- Assist in the development & selling of the vision for the Atlassian's Business Systems
- Report on progress to the IT management team on a frequent basis
- Provide direct line management to direct reports, including performance reviews
Main Responsibilities
- Engage with internal stakeholders to gather key initiatives and requirements to be worked into roadmap
- Develop yearly (medium term) and quarterly (short term) product roadmaps
- Socialize and gain buy in on roadmaps from stakeholders at all levels (internal business units, IT management team, senior executive)
- Work with the Talent/HR Leadership to set the long term vision for the product stream and deliver to that vision
- Work with development team lead to allocate resources required to deliver on roadmap
- Lead and Build Workday and Talent system integrations
- Work with IT management team to perform macro re-allocation of resources between product streams if required
- Lead the design, project management and implementation of solutions
- Evaluate current and future business needs
- Make data driven decisions using information from our centralized databases
- Recommend and implement improvements in business processes and IT systems
- Gather, document and interpret business requirements
Experience
- Motivated, no-bullshit self-starter. Creative. Data-Driven. Pragmatic. Relaxed yet enthusiastic attitude
- 5+ years IT analysis and product management experience - ideally in a high tech, software company working on major HRMS platform IT initiatives
- Experience defining a talent systems capability / strategy
- Experience with scoping, building, and managing integrations with HR solutions
- Experience leading cross functional teams (developers / analysts)
- BS/BA/IT Degree or equivalent experience
- Amazing analytical and problem solving skills, with an attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent prioritization skills to individually detect and deliver the most important things first
- Experience with HRMS platforms (i.e, Workday)
- Experience with recruiting talent solutions
- Experience with implementing SaaS solutions above preferred
- MBA or Business degree
- Software development experience
