- Lead the compilation and production of consolidated financial statements and related investor reporting for the worldwide group
- Define procedures, policies and controls to ensure financial reporting is in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards
- Manage the preparation of financial tables and metrics incorporated into quarterly earnings materials, including Audit Committee and Board presentations
- Work closely with Finance team, legal counsel, external auditors and other functions to prepare all financial statements, footnote disclosures, and related analysis
- Manage accounting of equity related transactions and stock-based compensation plans, including the valuation, forecasting, recording, and reporting of stock-based compensation expense and earnings per share
- Prepare monthly/quarterly statements of cash flows
- Assist in the preparation of written accounting and financial reporting position papers as well as researching, documenting, and assisting in establishing technical accounting policy
- Support the business needs of a dynamic, global organization through accounting research of technical issues and providing practical solutions associated with contemplated business transactions, including disclosure requirements
- Participate in significant business transactions by providing expertise on areas such as foreign exchange translation, hedge accounting, stock-based compensation and business combinations
- Research accounting guidance from the IASB, FASB and other regulatory bodies, including evaluating the impact of new guidance on the Company’s financial statements
- Prepare presentations for the audit committee on important accounting issues and trends
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures; review and maintain a system of internal accounting controls to ensure integrity of financial reporting process
- Work with Finance and IT teams to build tools and reports to improve reporting and analysis
- Drive continuous improvement through financial reporting analysis, metrics management and process optimization
What You’ve Done and Who You Are:
- Minimum 6-10 years of progressive experience, including full ownership of a financial reporting process
- Comfortable with multiple aspects of the financial reporting process, such as financial statement preparation, earnings per share calculations, cash flows, equity rollforwards and footnote support
- Expertise with complex business reporting solutions and alternatives (e.g., Workiva, XBRL)
- Experience with software, software-as-a-service or related technology companies
- Experience with equity accounting under ASC 718 and/or IFRS 2
- Degree in Finance or Accounting and CPA
- Ability to adapt to rapid business and organizational changes that accompany a high-growth environment
- Confident in your ability to communicate both orally and written, including the dissemination of technical accounting and related information in technical accounting memos
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail, demonstrated integrity and professionalism
- Productive self-starter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence
