We're looking for an eager, friendly communicator with a love for IT automation, high-quality customer service, excellent documentation, and learning and implementing new IT technologies.
Candidate should have the following qualities:
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in all work
- Ability to turn repeatable tasks (such as laptop deploys, new user account creation, etc.) into automated tasks
- Excellent rapport with customers; proven customer service track record
Our newest addition to the IT team will help to progress various tasks:
- Rollout of new computers, and maintenance of automated hardware deployment scripts
- Incorporation of useful software and SAAS tools for employees
- Help Desk support through in-person office hours and/or our ticketing system
- Office-wide software deployments
- Maintenance and upgrade of in-office technologies (CI systems; Networking Protocols & Equipment; File management systems; etc.)
- Security best practices: education and enforcement
- Floor coverage, and responsibility overlap when a teammate is out
Bonus abilities:
- Experience in using Configuration Management tools for maintenance of IT systems
- Previous LDAP and Active Directory Experience
- JIRA system management
- Experience with designing and rolling out automated failover systems
