As a Privacy and Security Manager at Lumosity, you’ll help evolve and advance the Company’s commitment to privacy and security as it grows its web and mobile offerings around the world. You should understand and stay up to date on best practices for privacy and security, both at a policy level and at an implementation level. You should be a natural leader who enjoys working collaboratively with engineers, scientists, product managers, marketers, and legal. You should be able to translate big picture privacy and security concepts into concrete product features and company processes and technical solutions.
YOU WILL
- Contribute to the Company’s privacy and security vision and strategy in connection with both US product offerings and international ones
- Work with data scientists, engineers and product managers to deliver comprehensive and cutting edge implementations for web and mobile products, and for the Company’s scientific research initiatives
- Maintain existing solutions and invent new ones to improve company operations within and across teams
YOU HAVE
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably with web- or mobile-based consumer products
- General knowledge of privacy frameworks, both in the United States and internationally
- Experience with security infrastructure, such as access controls, auditing, credential management, secure storage, and tools
- Ability to articulate a vision in privacy and security, and think both short-term plans and long-term strategy
- Ability to gather and develop requirements and drive the implementation of solutions within the company and its products
- Excellent communication skills and experience of working effectively with senior leaders, peers, and external entities
