Senior Engineer, New Products

It isn't easy analyzing a billion data points per second, but we're building a product that does just that with only a few people. We're looking for a front-end engineer to create the UI for New Relic's next generation data analysis tool.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented group of engineers and build something that will completely change the way developers view their application data. You will have a huge influence over what we build and work with a team that is close knit and highly collaborative. We're looking for someone who is comfortable wearing many hats, thinks creatively, and above all is obsessed with building things people love.
The ideal engineer will have experience in the following areas:
Frontend
You're comfortable with client-side MVC and care deeply about the details. You either are comfortable with Angular, or disdain it because you'd rather work in raw JavaScript (but are willing to work in Angular anyway). You make web apps look amazing and don't require mockups from a designer to do so. You've created sites that look great on mobile devices and maybe have dabbled in iOS or Android development. You enjoy building a great product that our customers love.
Backend
You have several years of experience in backend web development. You create elegant APIs and write the code that other developers rely on to build great features.
