Site Reliability Engineer
MailChimp is seeking application-focused infrastructure engineers to join our team. Though part of our infrastructure team you will work directly with developers (everyone has commit rights) building our products and ensure that performance, stability, security and availability are a core part of every release. MailChimp has over 7 million customers and is adding 10000+ every day and the infrastructure group does a lot of interesting scalable engineering to keep things running smoothly.
Applicants should have strong Linux and coding experience, independent troubleshooting skills, and a deep love for automation, monitoring, and configuration management. We are looking for infrastructure-minded engineers that can substantively contribute as an active member of a dev unit while working with the rest of infrastructure to ensure products are built to handle our scale and future growth. We don't expect you to have used every tool we use, but a solid conceptual understanding is necessary.
