Business Analytics Analyst

We are looking for a super smart and passionate individual to join our Business Analytics team as an analyst for Technology Operations. In this role, you will own the relationship with the senior executives managing this area, driving analytical insight into business recommendations and actions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze business performance, design and execute experiments, identify, evaluate and prioritize business opportunities
- Identify key metrics and build executive-facing dashboards to track business progress and assess core initiatives
- Perform analytical deep-dives to identify problems, opportunities and actions required
- Work hand-in-hand with senior executives from Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to translate insights into actions and business priorities
- Leverage large amounts of disparate data sources by using SQL, Hive, or other scripting and statistical tools
QUALIFICATIONS
- Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution is required. MS or MBA (or equivalent work experience) would be a strong plus
- 1-3 years of prior experience in a business consulting or analytics role
- Significant experience with SQL or a major software engineering language (Python, C++,Java) and a willingness to learn SQL
- Work experience with Engineering or Operations at a technology company a strong plus
- Familiarity with statistical packages (Matlab, SAS, R) is highly desired
- Work experience with eCommerce analytical tools (e.g., SiteCatalyst) is a plus
- Proven exceptional business and communication skills
