New Relic seeks an HR pro to take a key role as the HR Business Partner in our fast paced, high impact Sales organization. The right candidate will have solid experience in a broad range of HR disciplines - especially performance management, leadership development, and employee relations.

The ideal candidate thrives in an agile environment with a bias for action. You will be able to quickly build high-trust partnerships with management and employees, and have a passion for world-class HR programs and processes. You will work closely with Sales on compensation, incentives, staffing, and performance management -- all with support of HR specialists in these areas. You will be part of the global HR team that is capable, committed, hardworking and proud of what they accomplish.

You will report to the VP, People and will:
  • Partner with sales management to address their organizational priorities and change initiatives
  • Advise on policies, management, benefits, compensation structures and, especially, performance development
  • Partner with recruiting team on talent acquisition
  • Ensure proactive employee relations, coaching managers and employees
  • Conduct leadership development programs that build organizational capacity
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in HR
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, sales culture
  • Collaborative, driven, and self-reliant
  • Experience navigating conflicting priorities and stakeholders
  • Strong business acumen, including strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience leading innovative HR projects
  • A bachelor's degree in business, HR or a related field; or equivalent additional experience
Desirable:
  • Experience in an agile, software environment
  • PHR or SPHR
  • MBA or other related, advanced degree
