At New Relic, we build amazing tools that provide deep insight into web apps and services. We make sense of billions of metrics about millions of applications, all in real time. Our comprehensive SaaS-based solution for web and mobile applications consolidates performance monitoring data into a single, powerful interface. Our 90,000 customers use New Relic every day to optimize more than three million applications.
One of the platforms we support is Node.js, the event-driven JavaScript framework for high throughput web apps. Uptake of New Relic for Node.js has been huge, and we need more people to help us expand to bigger and greater things! We build and maintain an “agent” that monitors our customers’ Node.js web applications and reports data back to our services. You will help us ship amazing new features that help developers understand how their applications perform.
We need engineers who love playing around with the intricacies of programming languages; who like solving tricky problems; who enjoy thinking about application performance and have used profiling tools (maybe too much!) in the past. Deep knowledge of Node.js is cool, but not necessary. What we really need is someone who can dive into a complex system, figure out how it works, and find ways to help our customers understand their apps’ performance.
