OVERVIEW
As a member of the Quality Assurance Team, you will be part of the global Deezer Product Department. You will work under the QA lead and assist the project managers to assure the delivery of defect-free products that comply with technical specifications and business requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Master the product: no matter the platform, you know Deezer inside out!
- Master your assigned projects: take complete control over the projects you are responsible for, and think outside the box to anticipate and identify problems as soon as possible.
- Write test plans: you write test plans for new features, or update those which already exist.
- Master and develop test tools: take complete control over home made tools to test your projects and develop your own tools when necessary.
- Conduct functional tests: you test the website and apps (mobile/tablet) during product development to track bugs and validate defect resolution.
- Conduct automatic tests: you update or write Selenium IDE/Sikuli scripts or Selenium Webdriver Java tests depending on your skills.
- Communicate: you write clear and detailed bug reports, and communicate about your testing activities.
- Improve product quality and process efficiency: you provide feedback on how to improve the product and find ways to improve the efficiency of the QA team.
REQUIREMENTS

- You like getting completely involved in a project
- You are comfortable with tablets and smartphones
- 6+ months experience in mobile application or website quality assurance
- Demonstrated experience writing test plans, test requirements, and test cases
- Familiar with Agile methods
- Knowledge of css/html/javascript/php programming
- API or SDK casual user
- Basic knowledge of java programming is an advantage
